Here is an important List When you climb Mount Rinjani
Trekking Mount Rinjani is different than other mountains in Indonesia. All climbers from abroad must use porters to carry all logistics and trekking equipment such as food, drink, cooking gears, tent, mattress, sleeping bag, and other equipment. Climbers only bring a backpack to carry their own stuff.
It is important that you are well prepared and equipped for the climb to Mount Rinjani to ensure your maximum comfort and enjoyment. We suggest you bring your personal stuff, only what you need during the climb, in your small backpack. Make sure that it is less than 5 kg or unless it is going to make your climb harder.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE RANGE AT MOUNT RINJANI
- CRATER RIM / Campsite (2600m): 6°C-10°C (In the night after sunset).
- SUMMIT (3726m): Approximately 4°C-6°C, and sometimes drop to as low as 1ºC if bad weather such as windy and foggy.
- At The Lake / Campsite (2010m): 6°C-10°C (In the night after sunset).

THINGS TO BRING DURING WALKING
DAY TRIP (Weather Usually Hot, Warm, Sunny, Foggy And Rain)
- Wear Lightweight Clothing Like T-Shirts And Track Pants.
- Wear Covered Walking/Hiking Shoes With Good Grip. (Sports Shoe Is Adequate).
- Waterproof Backpack To Store Your Items. (If Not, Buy A Rain Cover For Your Backpack. Try To Limit It To Less Than 6 Kg. It Would Be A Burden For You To Bring More Than That).
- A Small Lightweight Towel.
- A 1500ml Drinking Water Will Be Provided By Us.
- Refillable 1 – 1.5 Litre Water Bottle. (Most Climbers Need Only About 1.5-2L/Day).
- High Energy Food Such As Chocolates, Nuts, Biscuits, Sweets, Energy Bars.
- Personal Toiletries Such As Tissue, Soap, Toothbrush And Toothpaste.
- Ponchos Or Disposable Raincoat (2-3 Sets) Or Waterproof Jacket In Case Of Rain.
NIGHT TRIP / SUMMIT TRAIL (Weather Usually Cold And Windy)

- Waterproof Wind Breaker.
- Fleece Jackets, Long Sleeves Shirts, Thick Trousers/Hiking Pants, Thick Socks.
- Good Head Torch. (Head Torch Is Necessary As Most Of The Time You Have To Hold The Rope In The Dark).
- Cap/Beanie/Head Scarf/Balaclava Mask. (It Will Keep You Warm And Protect Your Head And Face From The Cold Wind).
- Waterproof Gloves (It Will Protect Your Hands From Rope Burn And Cold).
- Small Water Bottle (500ml Bottle Is Enough).
- Ponchos Or Disposable Raincoat (2-3 Sets) Or Waterproof Jacket In Case Of Rain.
- Snack Bar.

Just pack the necessities mentioned above in your waterproof backpack for the climb. However, if you are in need to hire a porter to carry your backpack, you can reserve an additional porter with us for $25/day.
